Being Vaccinated 2022 in the NBA.
How hypocritical is this story!
Have you heard about the recent situation with Kyrie Irving, a basketball player from the New York Nets?
He is an anti-vaxxer and because he is not vaccinated, due to the New York city covid regulations he can’t play home games at Barclays Center. But he can be at the Barclays Center to watch the game, he just can’t be on the court. He was there to watch the game then he went into the locker room after the game during the team’s home game against the Knicks on Sunday which resulted in a 50,000 dollar fine for the Nets organization. Oh yes and get these players that are from visiting teams that are not vaccinated are allowed to play at the Barclays Center, just not him. Since it is a New York team the law only applies to them, but not the visiting players. So he can be at the game just watching it, but he can be on the court playing. This makes no sense! How does it just apply to individuals that are working in that area? Science does not change whether you are here in the Golden State or if you are in New York. This rule is just plain dumb!
